This policy explains what information MTT Hold'em (“we”, “us”) collects when you use www.mttholdem.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. MTT Hold'em is a free training tool for no-limit tournament poker. It does not offer real-money gambling.

Who we are

MTT Hold'em is an educational poker trainer. For any privacy question or request, contact us at privacy@mttholdem.com.

What we collect

  • No accounts. There is no sign-in on this site. We do not ask for your name or email address, and we do not create an account for you or hold any account data.
  • Usage and analytics data.We use Google Analytics to collect information such as the pages you view, time on the site, your device and browser type, an approximate (city-level) location derived from your IP address, and how you reached the site. We use this in aggregate to understand usage and improve the trainer. You can opt out at any time (see “Your choices and rights” below).
  • Information stored in your browser.Your lesson progress and exam answers are saved in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device and is never sent to us. Because there is no account, your progress is tied to that one browser: it will not follow you to another device, and clearing your browser data erases it.

Cookies

  • Analytics cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies (for example _ga) to measure usage. You can turn these off using your browser's cookie controls or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on (see “Your choices and rights”).

How we use your information

  • To understand how the trainer is used and improve the lessons.
  • To keep the site secure and working correctly.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Third parties and links

  • Google provides our analytics. Their use of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Partner links.Some links (for example to Global Poker) are affiliate links. If you click one you leave our site and the partner's own privacy policy and terms apply. We may receive a referral benefit, at no cost to you.

Your choices and rights

  • Analytics. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
  • Local data.Clearing your browser's site data removes your stored progress. Since there is no account, that is all the data there is to remove.
  • Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit the use of your personal information. Contact us to exercise them.

Data retention

Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings. We hold no account data, because there are no accounts. Your progress stays in your own browser until you clear it.

Children

MTT Hold'em is intended for adults who are of legal age to play poker in their jurisdiction (18 or older). It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
